How to Increase Your Vertical Jump

Many athletes believe that if they keep pushing themselves by jumping over and over (without proper training) that they will be able to scale new heights and play above the rim. While this can work for some, usually it can only be effective for those above 6'4" or so. What happens to the shorter folk like you and I? We get frustrated and perhaps even injure ourselves in the process, all the while barely reaching the rim, or even the net.

There is a solution for us smaller guys who can't seem to reach that next level of vertical jump. If you want to be a star on the court and to dunk on others around you, it will take time and a lot of self discipline, like anything worthwhile in life. To increase your vertical jump by even 4" - 6" should take approximately 2 months of workout routines, drills and exercises.

On top of increasing your vertical jump by 6" or more, you will greatly improve your game and sprint speed, which is essential to becoming a more complete player. If you want to achieve this and start playing with the big boys at the top, check out Vertical Project.
